New company, established trades
Javi's Construction is a new business. We are going to say that plainly at the top of the page rather than bury it, because a contractor who starts by overstating how long they have been around has told you something about how the rest of the job will go.
What the company is built on is range. Most contractors in this market do one thing: concrete, or asphalt, or waterproofing, or floor coatings. We do all four, and in practice that turns out to matter far more often than it sounds like it should. A basement that takes on water needs drainage sorted before a new slab is worth pouring, and a resin floor is only worth coating once both are done. A parking lot that has started to fail needs the failed sections rebuilt, the rest sealed, and the whole thing restriped — three trades, one correct order. Splitting that across three companies is how a two-week job becomes a two-month one.

- Quote a job we have not looked at. Base condition and drainage are what decide the price on almost everything we do, and neither is visible in a photo.

Nothing about that costs you anything to find out, and it will tell you more about how we work than any amount of copy here.

That takes in Cook County, DuPage County, Lake County, Will County and Kane County — Chicago itself plus towns like Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, Elgin, Schaumburg, Evanston. Yes. Concrete and paving sub work for general contractors, builders, and property management companies is a normal part of what we do — foundations and footings for new construction and additions, flatwork, site concrete, and asphalt and striping on commercial sites.
That is one of the main reasons to call us. A basement that needs drainage, a new slab and an epoxy floor is one scope and one schedule rather than three. So is a lot that needs asphalt repair, sealcoating and restriping. The order those happen in matters, and handling them together means nobody is waiting on anyone else.
We come and look at the actual job — measure it, check what is underneath where that matters, and ask what you are trying to achieve. Then you get a written number and an explanation of what is in it. If we think the work you have asked for is not the work you need, we will say so at that point, not after we have started.
